Description Diabetes is a progressive chronic disease. Over time many people with diabetes need to take medication to manage their blood glucose levels. Medications are a key part of a diabetes care plan. They work along with healthy lifestyle choices to lower blood glucose levels, reduce the risks for diabetes complications and other clinical benefits. The theme for this year's Diabetes Forum will focus on current pharmaceutical options for diabetes and how they work. We are pleased to have Molly Walbrown Pharm.D., BCPS, CACP, CDE, WellSpan pharmacist and certified diabetes educator, discuss this important topic with us.
Free flu and pneumonia shots will be offered to persons with diabetes attending the program.
