Map & Driving Directions

The Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Miller Rehabilitation Services Center is an acute inpatient rehabilitation unit. Located in a newly renovated area on the first floor of the WellSpan Hyman S. Caplan Pavilion, this unit specializes in comprehensive rehabilitative care for individuals age 18 and older. This unit has all private rooms and private bathrooms.

Patients can be admitted from the hospital, home, assisted living, or nursing home after their functional status is evaluated. Patients admitted for acute rehabilitation must be medically stable and demonstrate a reasonable expectation to benefit and tolerate a comprehensive rehabilitation program. The inpatient rehabilitation program is designed to meet the needs of each patient and includes at least 3 hours of therapy per day. This therapy time includes a combination of physical, occupational and speech therapy as indicated by the needs of the patient. Therapy time is divided through the course of the day in order to meet individual needs.

Patients must have a deficit(s) that requires retraining in an acute rehabilitation setting under the guidance of an interdisciplinary team.
