How is the number of patients waiting calculated?

The number of patients waiting represents patients that have checked in at the urgent care facility, but have not yet seen a provider. It is both patients in the waiting area and patients in a treatment room that have not yet started their visit.

Values can be influenced by many factors and should be considered estimates only.

WellSpan Medical Oncology & Hematology offers comprehensive diagnostic and medical treatment services to patients with a variety of cancers. Our team uses the most advanced technologies and treatments with medicine, including chemotherapeutic agents, newly developed biologic and immune modulated therapies and, when appropriate, hormones. Our medical oncologist helps design treatment plans and coordinates treatment with other cancer specialists, such as surgical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists.

As part of our ongoing goal to make WellSpan services easier to access and use, we will coordinate your care through MyWellSpan, our secure online tool. Use MyWellSpan to manage your appointments, review lab and imaging study results, communicate with your doctor, access your confidential medical records and more. These nodes could result in an unnecessary (false positive) finding. For that reason, we recommend you avoid having your screening mammogram any time from 1 day prior to your first vaccination to 4 weeks past your second vaccination.
