Sleep disorders impact all areas of a person's life—from performance at work to recreational activities and relationships.  The Gettysburg Hospital and York Hospital Sleep Centers have skilled teams of professionals who work to diagnose and evaluate sleep conditions, including insomnia, snoring, restless leg syndrome, nocturnal seizures and narcolepsy.  If you suspect you or someone you know has a sleep disorder, talk to your doctor to see if you might benefit from a sleep evaluation.

If you regularly fall asleep unintentionally during the day, have trouble falling asleep at night or snore loudly, you probably need more than just a good night's sleep. These problems could be signs of a sleep disorder. Approximately one in three Americans suffer from a sleep disorder that makes waking and sleeping hours unpleasant.

An untreated sleep disorder can reduce your productivity, increase your chances of having an accident and put you at more risk for illness. But, help is available.
