How We Can Help

Patients undergo a complete assessment to identify the underlying cause of the wound. Once the cause is determined, the care team develops an individualized treatment plan. When necessary, consultations in vascular intervention, podiatry, diabetic and nutrition education, infectious disease, orthotics, compression therapy and other disciplines are readily available.Treatment may include:

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT): Allows you to breathe 100% oxygen at increased atmospheric pressures. This treatment has three effects: increases the oxygen levels in your tissues, promotes healing and fights infection.

Wound Debridement: A minor office procedure on your wound which promotes healthy tissue growth.

Wound Care: Advanced wound care products are chosen for the patient’s individual needs to promote the correct environment in which the wound can heal.

Ostomy Clinic: Pre-surgical Ostomy Site selection and patient/family education. Post surgical Ostomy appliance and skin management assistance and education. York location only.
