At WellSpan Health, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and mental health professionals combine efforts to provide the most appropriate level of behavioral health care for people of all ages: children, adolescents and adults. Together, these individuals work in conjunction with area physicians, schools, businesses, governmental agencies, and social service organizations to address all aspects of mental health and addiction disorders.
To make sure that individuals can access assessment, diagnosis and treatment and referral to the most appropriate level of care, WellSpan Behavioral Health offers a variety of outpatient services at locations throughout south central Pennsylvania.
For individuals requiring inpatient care, WellSpan York Hospital features separate adult, geriatric and adolescent units for intense, short-term treatment and assessment. Out inpatient units are designed to help stabilize patients so they may move on to less restrictive outpatient care as quickly as possible. Our professionals provide consultation for patients at WellSpan York Hospital, WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital, Hanover Hospital, and area nursing homes.
