Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I had always wanted to be a physician since childhood. I was fascinated by biology, people, and technology, and it seemed a great way to spend a lifetime. I never seriously considered any other career choice.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I want my patients to enjoy excellent health, make good choices and care for themselves, their family, friends, and community. Our office visits should be enjoyable (at least not painful!), and I will get to know you as a person, not just as a patient. Our staff is very patient-friendly and will also get to know you, care for you, and do their best for you.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
In no particular order, I enjoy time with friends and family, reading about a wide variety of subjects, exercise (especially bicycling), movies, travel, foreign languages and cultures, and many other activities. I have served on church council, historical society board, Adams County bicycling/exercise board, and I chair the Department of Medicine at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital.
Ratings and comments display for WellSpan Medical Group employed physicians who have a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys.
