Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
Throughout my life, I've learned my most meaningful experiences come from serving others. Combined with my interest for science, anatomy, and the ever-changing technologies in medicine, I knew that pursuing a career in medicine was the right choice for me. My mom has been an NICU nurse for 30 years, and she pushed me from a young age to explore the many career opportunities in medicine to find the right fit for me.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I recognize the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle, which keeps me both mentally and physically healthy. As a physician assistant, I continuously strive to use my knowledge and skills to help each of my patients achieve their goals and return to the activities they love. I work with a wonderful team at WellSpan Sports Medicine, and each member is fully dedicated to helping restore the athlete in everyone.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
When I am not spending time at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our dog, and family. We enjoy traveling and are always looking forward to our next adventure. However, the Scottish Highlands will always have a special place in our hearts. I enjoy yoga, running, hiking and spending time outside.
