How it works

A WellSpan nurse navigator helps connect you (or covered family members over the age of 18) with a primary care provider and schedules your first virtual appointment. After that visit, you can get:

Unlimited access to a WellSpan primary care provider, including after hours, weekends and holidays
Care coordination for chronic conditions, such as diabetes or asthma, and common behavioral health conditions
Preventive screenings including mammography, at-home colon cancer screening and cardiac calcium scoring
Wellness coaching, a customizable wellness portal and annual at-home biometric screening

All at $0 copay or deductible for your primary care appointments and screening procedures.

"I don't like prescribing pills and ordering tests. Yes, I do prescribe a lot of pills, but I don't like it. I would prefer to try lifestyle changes to promote good health. Unfortunately, that doesn't always work as well as we hope. I'm glad that we have so many medications and diagnostic tests available, but I'm happiest when a patient feels better after simply talking through a situation."
