Expanding access to care for patients and families in Lebanon County, WellSpan Health announced yesterday that Schaefferstown Family Medicine has joined WellSpan's network. The practice opened today as WellSpan Family Medicine in Schaefferstown, located at 2496 Stiegel Pike Schaefferstown, PA 17088.

"Bringing the providers, staff, and patients of this practice into the WellSpan Health family will allow us to expand access to the highest quality, affordable care to the residents of Lebanon County, with a care team who knows their community and those community members can trust," said Dr. Anthony Aquilina, executive vice president and chief physician executive. "Patients in the Schaefferstown community have trusted the providers at this practice for the last 25 years, and this move will allow us to continue to offer patients the high-quality care they have come to expect."

The three-provider practice serves more than 4,500 patients in the Lebanon County area. WellSpan Family Medicine in Schaefferstown is open five days a week and is currently accepting new patients:

• Monday: 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.
• Tuesday: 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Thursday: 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.
• Friday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

As part of WellSpan Health, the practice will continue to provide family medicine and primary care for the greater community. This includes expert medical care for acute illnesses and injuries, chronic conditions, and preventative care.
