18th Annual WellSpan Health Collaborative EBP and Nursing Research Conference

This year’s conference is “Transforming the Healthcare Environment” featuring keynote speaker Sharon Tucker, PhD, APRN-CNS, PMHCNS-BC, NC-BC, EBP-C, FNAP, FAAN.

Dr. Tucker is Associate Dean for Health Promotion & Well-being and Director of the Center for Wellness and Prevention in the College of Nursing at The Ohio State University (OSU). She is also the Grayce Sills Endowed Professor in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing in the College of Nursing and Director for the Implementation Science Core for the Fuld Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) Institute for Nursing and Healthcare. Prior to joining OSU in 2017, she served for 15 years as director for research, EBP and quality for two separate large, Magnet-designated hospital programs, Mayo Clinic and University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. Dr. Tucker holds board certification as an APRN-CNS in psychiatric mental health nursing and as an Integrative Nurse Coach. Dr. Tucker is a change management expert and has cultivated research that has made significant and sustained impacts on science and practice in two areas: behavior change through mental health and wellness interventions and practice and organizational change through EBP implementation, training, and tools. She focuses on women and children, employees and worksite interventions for health, well-being, stress reduction, and mental health. She is a Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellows Program Alumna; an elected fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and National Academies of Practice; serves as Associate Editor for Worldviews on Evidence-Based Nursing; publishes widely and serves on regional and national boards. She is also the current President for the Midwest Nursing Research Society and the Chair for the Practice Committee for the American Holistic Nurses Association. Dr. Tucker was recognized in April of 2023 by the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics as one of 30 revolutionary leaders (around the world) in 30 years of the National EBP Conference.

$77 cost for faculty and currently enrolled RN-BSN and graduate students at Millersville University, York College of Pennsylvania, Messiah University; and Sigma, Eta Eta and Xi Chi chapter members. $55 cost for undergraduate nursing students Messiah University and York College of Pennsylvania. Discount will be applied at time of registration.
