This week, safety fencing was put into place around the Ketterman Building and demolition of the exterior walls started. In the photo to the left, you can see some of the bricks that have been removed around windows on the building.
On Monday, August 7, a project to add a new vehicle lane at York Hospital’s Emergency Department entrance will begin.
The lane widening project will start with the installation of construction fencing around a portion of the Emergency Department entrance circle, as well as directional signs for guest vehicles, ambulances and pedestrian traffic.The sidewalk leading to the Emergency Department entrance will remain accessible for employees and visitors.
The lane widening project is expected to continue through November.
Also, please remember that Tower Drive and the Tower Patient Pick-up Circle will close on Monday, July 31. The closure is to enable construction of the additional cath lab at the hospital.
