Evangelical Community Hospital Foundation today announced three local ambassadors who are participating in its 2025 Ambassador Challenge, an annual fundraiser that supports health care services provided by WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital in the Central Susquehanna Valley. The ambassadors are: Dr. Daria Keyser a physician at the WellSpan Center for Breast Health in Lewisburg; Ryan McNally, senior director of strategy execution at WellSpan Health; and Stacey Napoli, a Selinsgrove business leader who owns Ciao Bella clothing boutique and co-owns Isabella’s Ristorante and Bella’s Pizzeria.

The Ambassador Challenge is a four-week campaign to increase awareness of WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital’s impact in the Central Susquehanna Valley and raise funds to strengthen that impact. The three Ambassadors are each competing to raise $30,000 or more toward a collective goal of $100,000.

“For nearly 100 years, our community hospital has been supported by a generous community of friends,” said Kendra Aucker, senior vice president of WellSpan’s North Region and president of WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital. “It is thanks to that support that we are able to grow vital services and programs that touch the lives of everyone who lives in the Central Susquehanna Valley. We are grateful to this year’s ambassadors whose fundraising efforts will enable us to become even more responsive to the health care needs of our region.”

Proceeds from the Ambassador Challenge will benefit the Foundation’s Century Fund, part of its Beyond 100 Campaign aimed at sustaining vital programs, expanding services, upgrading equipment and facilities and planning for the ever-changing health care needs of the region for the next 100 years.

“As a physician, I have experienced firsthand the importance of specialized care services and programs for our community members,” Keyser said. “I’m grateful to be a part of the Evangelical family and localized care in the Central Susquehanna Valley.”

McNally said, “For my family and many others throughout the region, WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital has been there for us during all stages of life. The hospital has been a place for hope, healing, comfort and joy. Our community is fortunate to have access to incredible healthcare resources close to home.”

Napoli said, “WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital is a huge asset to our community. They provide quality, compassionate healthcare and offer public health education to our region. The hospital cares not only for the patients it serves but is also invested in the community as a whole.”

To rise up to the challenge, the ambassadors are participating in weekly contests on an Ambassador Challenge website. Community members are invited to support one or more of the ambassadors by donating online at EvanHospital.com/2025ambassador.

Community members also can support the campaign by participating in the Ambassador Challenge online auction April 24 through May 22 at EvanHospital.com/2025ambassadorauction. Auction items include a cocktail making class for six at Isabella Restaurant; six tickets for a Penn State ice hockey game in the 2025-2026 season; a three-month membership to the Greater Susquehanna Valley YMCA; a 30-minute family session from Lewisburg Studio by Melo Foto; and many more.

Evangelical Community Hospital Foundation is grateful to the following sponsors for supporting the 2025 Ambassador Challenge: Bucknell University, McNees, Mifflinburg Bank & Trust, Cornerstone Independent Asset Management and The Daily Item.
