Treatment options for pain management
Our approach to treating your pain is personal. With compassion and understanding, we'll meet with you to talk about your individual pain symptoms and discuss your goals. Your individualized treatment plan may include:
Injections/Intervention/Nerve Blocks: Our team can deliver medications via injection to help with overactive, strained and spastic muscles, injured nerves and/or arthritis pain.
Radiofrequency ablation: This therapy uses radio waves to create heat energy, which disrupts the pain signals for patients who have arthritis pain in the spine and/or joints.
Spinal cord stimulation: This minimally invasive treatment intercepts pain signals before they reach the brain, which can significantly reduce the need for opioid pain management.
Therapy groups: Our clinical psychologists lead these groups to help people manage the psychological and emotional causes and effects of long-term pain.
Integrative therapies: Beyond interventional procedures, we emphasize integrative treatment therapies to reduce reliance on long-term medications. Our team may recommend injections, physical therapy, massage therapy, chiropractic care, cognitive-behavioral therapy, acupuncture, nutrition and yoga as part of a holistic pain management plan.
