Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

In a world that has become more and more impersonal, I am passionate and dedicated to helping women find solutions to their individual OB-GYN needs. It is a great privilege to train to help people. I went into this field so I could listen and understand patients and their concerns, and operate. I feel honored to have developed my listening and surgical skills after many years of training and practice. I am fortunate to have been a part of people's lives in both their happy and difficult times. Medicine is a field that is constantly changing with more to learn. I find this rewarding.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I was brought up bilingual and have walked five marathons. I love my job. It's an amazing feeling to have a window into people's most vulnerable moments and be part of the solution. I am truly lucky. My favorite surgeries are C-Sections and laparoscopic hysterectomies, uterine ablations and tubal ligations

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I love to travel, be active outside, swim, hike, make jewelry, look at the moon and have connected conversations with family and friends. My daughter is a huge ray of sunshine in my life. Jett, the dog, is super funny and makes me laugh a lot. I'm a big advocate of healthy choices and lifestyles.
