Medical school: Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine
Area of Interest in Medicine: Women’s Health
I chose York initially because it is my hometown. However, when I got the opportunity to do a sub-I here that’s when I really felt confident in my decision to apply to this program. The attendings had good relationships with the residents in that they could joke around with each other, but they could also have productive teacher-learner interactions.
The residents were very transparent when I worked with them which was really nice because these were people I was considering spending most of my time with for the new few years. Everyone was very kind and I’m so happy that I’m spending my 3 years of residency with this group of people!
Outside of work you’ll most often find me hanging out with my cat. I also really enjoy spending time with my significant other and working on projects with him, cooking, and reading when I have the time.

I chose York because it felt like a great fit for me when I did a rotation here 4th year! Everyone was so welcoming and kind, from attendings to residents to clinic staff. I knew it would be a supportive learning environment that would give me a great education throughout residency.
Outside of work you can find me baking with sourdough, going on hikes outside, and spending time with my family.

Area of Interest in Medicine: Sports Medicine
I chose York for many reasons. Through the interview process, York FM really stood out to me. Everyone I spoke to was genuine and interested in me as a person just as much, if not more, than my application.
I hope to one day pursue a fellowship in sports medicine. With the in-depth ultrasound curriculum and associated sports medicine fellowship, I am confident that the York FM residency program will prepare me for my career aspirations. More than anything, I am excited and proud to be a part of a program with such friendly, thoughtful, and supportive people!
Outside of work I enjoy hanging out with my dogs and wife, playing golf and board games, and trying new foods.

I chose York because I got fantastic vibes from faculty and residents during my resident social, interview day, and second look. Everyone seemed super supportive and kind. As a bonus, York is super close to family and friends in Maryland allowing for easy visits!
Outside of work, you can find me running, climbing, supporting my Boston sports teams, travel, and cooking.

I chose York FM because the support from residents, attendings, and staff provides the environment I need to grow professionally and personally. The clinic-first approach was a highlight because it will allow me to build a strong outpatient foundation.
Outside of work, I like to spend time with my friends, family, and my dog. I also love going to the gym, going on hikes, exploring new cities, and watching New York Knicks basketball.

I chose York because of the people! I was looking for a program that was going to be a safe place for learning, somewhere fun to explore, and had people that are passionate about their patients and helping them thrive. I found all of that at York. My interview with the people here gave me the "gut feeling" that it was the right choice and I'm so glad to be here!
Outside of work, I love gardening, walking with my husband and our dog Theo, and trying new recipes! If I'm not in York I can be found with my two sisters and two nephews, probably at the pool.

I chose York because I really believe that it’s the people who you learn from and train alongside that make all the difference. Every single person that I met during the interview process was amazing!
Outside of work I read, crochet, do other crafts, practice drawing, and play video games.
