The Day Surgery Center has six operating rooms and other rooms equipped to handle a wide range of procedures, from tonsillectomies to laparoscopic and arthroscopic surgery to laser procedures on the eye. Physicians from every surgical specialty use the Day Surgery Center, for care of patients of all ages.
Patients are prepared for surgery, have their procedure and recover all on the same floor of the Health Pavilion. On the day of surgery, patients enter the Day Surgery Center from the Second Floor entrance to the Ephrata Health Pavilion (located on the side of the building facing Route 272).
