Kasey Paulus, RN, MBA, CENP, is the executive vice president and chief operating officer for WellSpan Health. As a dyad partner to Dr. Tony Aquilina, WellSpan executive vice president and chief physician executive, Kasey drives operational excellence across the health system, including its ten service lines, nine hospitals, hundreds of ambulatory sites, home care and hospice services, and virtual health options. In her role, she champions improvement and transformation initiatives to elevate the performance of health system and advance value-based care strategies.
Kasey has twenty years of experience in healthcare operations, nursing, nursing leadership, continuous performance improvement, high reliability, and patient safety.
She joined WellSpan in July 2021, where she first served as vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at WellSpan York Hospital and then senior vice president and the chief nursing executive for the health system. Prior to joining WellSpan, she served as vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer within the HealthPartners System in Minnesota.
Kasey holds a bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's degree in business administration.
