Thank you for your interest in our new Family Medicine residency!
While graduate medical education is new to our community hospital, we are fortunate to have experienced faculty and team members, as well as valuable support from our institution and its other Family Medicine residency programs.
WellSpan Health continues a strong commitment to graduate medical education by bringing this value to our Chambersburg community. Family physicians are the major providers of primary care supporting our growing community, so making the decision to start a Family Medicine residency for our community was clearly the right path.
Our ACGME accredited program is designed to educate residents in high quality, evidence-based patient care in the full spectrum of Family Medicine in a respectful and supportive educational environment.
We also firmly believe that the creation of a diverse physician workforce is central to achieving equitable health outcomes for all and recognize our responsibility toward achieving that goal. We look forward to meeting you!
