Alyssa Robertson, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP, BCEMP, received her degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in 2012. She completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at CJW Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia, and a PGY-2 critical care residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Within her practice of emergency medicine, Alyssa’s clinical interests include sepsis management, acute resuscitation, stroke management, and toxicologic emergencies. Alyssa serves as preceptor for the PGY-1 and PGY-2 required and elective emergency medicine rotations. She was awarded Pharmacy Preceptor of the Year by the 2023-2024 residency class.
Alyssa is involved with various hospital committees, including Pharmacy Therapeutics and Formulary Committee, Drug Shortage, Stroke Clinical Effectiveness Committee, and others. She is an active member of the York Hospital Emergency Medicine Research group, with several ongoing active projects. In addition to her current role and responsibilities, Alyssa is an active member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), for which she is chair-elect for the Emergency Medicine Practice and Research Network. She is also a member of the Academic Emergency Medicine Pharmacist (AEMP) group, part of the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM).
