Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors in theatre arts from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, and is a recipient of the Kathryn Johnson Young Theatre Arts Award. She earned her Teaching Artist Certification from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and a teaching certification from the National Center for Creative Aging. Christina has 15 years of experience as a standardized patient at the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Johns Hopkins Medicine Simulation Center in Baltimore, and the Kinsley Family Foundation Medical Simulation Center, serving the last four years as the Standardized Patient Educator. Christina specializes in collaborating with medical professionals to develop case materials and training caring professionals to serve as standardized patients, bringing to life realistic patient portrayals and offering specific, succinct and constructive feedback to learners in our medical community.
