Our fellowship is also dedicated to improving and empowering the specialty of sports medicine through research and teaching:
- The Research Center at WellSpan Health provides access to a multitude of educators and statisticians who are dedicated to helping you complete research and quality improvement projects during your training.
- Throughout the year, you’ll teach sports medicine to our family medicine residents through didactic sessions, one-on-one teaching in clinics and procedural workshops on ultrasound and casting/splinting.
With a dedicated faculty, coverage opportunities and incredible academic support, you’ll finish your training with:
- ultrasound proficiency
- acute fracture management knowledge
- mass event directorship experience
- research and quality improvement experience
- teaching skills
