Interested in a healthcare career? WellSpan provides unpaid internship opportunities to enhance student learning in a variety of healthcare occupations.

Eligibility

Internships at WellSpan are offered to post-secondary students in partnership with specific accredited colleges, universities and allied health schools and are part of a student’s curriculum/graduation requirements (earned credit hours).

If you are a student interested in an internship, you or your school must contact a WellSpan department within your specific discipline or program to inquire if internship opportunities are available.

Contact a WellSpan department

The decision to host an unpaid intern is dependent upon each department’s current capacity and priorities.
Internships are offered to schools that have a signed affiliation agreement on file.

Student responsibilities

Once you have been accepted by the host department and the affiliation agreement has been verified, you must complete mandatory internship requirements prior to the start of your internship. All fees associated with the internship are the responsibility of the student. WellSpan Workforce Development will contact you via email to provide instructions.
