Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?:
After working in a marketing position for a year after college, I decided to pursue nursing because I was passionate about helping people. Over time, I became interested in the prevention of chronic illness through diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes. I seek to be an advocate for my patients to help them achieve their health goals and become the healthiest version of themselves.
What I want my patients to know about me?:
I have worked in healthcare since 2007 and was a Registered Nurse in the hospital setting for 14 years prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner. I am compassionate, honest, and non-judgmental.
What I do when I’m not seeing patients?:
When I'm not seeing patients, I'm busy being a mom. I enjoy spending time with my children and family. We love to hike, swim, ride four-wheelers, and travel, especially to the beaches in South Florida. I also enjoy shopping and cooking for my family.
