Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I pursued a career in medicine because I have family members who work in the medical field. I also enjoy helping others in need and like meeting new people on a daily basis.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I want my patients to know that I am a detail-oriented provider who tries to know as much about their medical history/lifestyle in order to provide the best care for their GI concerns.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
In my free time, I like spending time with my family, trying new recipes/baking, shopping, crafting, exercising, and traveling when possible.

I had a bad experience with my gastro person in Vegas before moving to Gettysburg. I knew the care was bad, but couldn't define it. Cara defined it for me and is concerned about the things the Vegas doc didn't do (biopsy of polyps, ulcer bacteria test). For the first time in 15 years, I feel like I have a gastro doctor who cares.
