Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

My childhood pediatrician inspired me to become a physician. He was the epitome of a great doctor! He had an innate way of interacting with kids that sparked a desire for me to become a physician. It wasn't until I had an intriguing geriatric rotation that I developed a passion to care for patients of all ages.

What I want my patients to know about me:

In 2009, the rare opportunity to work in a small country practice became a reality. Although medicine has become quite complex over the years in terms of expectations, mandates and increased medical needs, we (WFM Chanceford) remain committed to keeping our patients the center of our existence. Providing exceptional care is a common goal within our practice. We are honored to care for each patient as an individual.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

First and foremost, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children. A perfect day for me would consist of boating with my family with Dave Matthews cranked up in the background. I look forward to a yearly trip to Bar Harbor Maine, where I relax, hang out with my family and marvel at the beauty of God's handy work.
