Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I had a genuine love for science since I was a child and actually taught science in middle school after graduating from college. I unfortunately lost my dad to heart disease and this inspired a sense of direction within me to pursue a career in medicine. I have found that medicine gives me a sense of purpose to help those in a similar situation as my father. It also allows me to continue to teach, both my patients and their families, while also fulfilling my love for science.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I want my patients to know that I love WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital and the surrounding community. It is a place where I am happy to come to work everyday. I've been fortunate enough to be surrounded by some of the best physician colleagues, nurse practitioners, nurses, and staff members, several of whom have become some of my closest friends in life. These are individuals who I would trust to take care of me or my loved ones. WellSpan is a great health system that values lifelong wellness and provides exceptional medical care, here in Central PA!

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I have a very busy life at home where I spend most of my time chasing my two boys (Dylan 2, Brayden 5). I have been married for 7 years and my husband is also a very busy non-invasive cardiologist. When we're not busy working, we enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and watching movies on Netflix.
