Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I have always wanted to help people and make a difference in someone's life. I started my career as a CNA, then became an LPN, RN, and now CRNP. I have focused on pediatrics and emergency medicine throughout my nursing career and truly feel like this career is what I was always meant to do. Medicine is forever changing and evolving.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I am very open-minded and an active listener. I want my patients to know that their needs will always be prioritized and that I will always lend an open ear. I pride myself on displaying transparency as well as forming caring connections and trust with my patients. I will always provide respect. I am a firm believer in effective communication and will ensure that questions are answered and understood.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When I am not seeing patients, I am spending time with my two daughters, friends and family. I enjoy being outdoors and exploring new places. I love traveling and discovering new adventures. Traveling should be viewed as an experience rather than an escape. My favorite travel destination is anywhere with sun, sand and the ocean. I love cooking and baking and always search for new recipes and ideas.
