Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?:

I chose healthcare so I could combine my enjoyment of problem-solving, biology and interacting with people. My father set an excellent example as a family physician for many years, and I am grateful to follow in his footsteps by continuing to serve the community and connect with patients.

What I want my patients to know about me?:

I grew up on an apple orchard in Adams County and completed my B.S. at Messiah College and M.H.S. at Drexel University. I spent over 10 years working in the emergency department prior to transitioning to family medicine. I want to work with each patient to help them be the healthiest version of themselves. I encourage open, honest and respectful communication so we can formulate a treatment plan that is customized to each patient.

What I do when I’m not seeing patients?:

I enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys. When I am with friends, I like staying active playing racquet sports, spikeball or swimming. I also enjoy playing a variety of board games and card games. Woodworking is a favored pastime when my schedule allows.
