Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
Children are always asked what they want to be when they grow up. My answer has always been the same: a doctor. As that dream became a reality, I have been reaffirmed in my purpose and passion to not only provide excellent care to my patients and impact their lives in a meaningful way, but also be their advocate and serve as a mentor for the next generation of aspiring physicians.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I want my patients to know that I am an active listener and partner in their wellness. I'm extremely passionate about the field of dermatology and advocating for what's best for my patients. I work actively to stay up-to-date on the most innovative and effective treatments in the field. I practice general dermatology along with dermatological procedures and have expertise in treating skin of color and hair care.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
When I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, watching sports, traveling, trying new recipes, hitting the gym, or watching the latest tv shows.

This was the first visit with Dr. Durante as my previous provider left. She listen to my concerns but when explaining the light therapy, I thought she was talking about a light box which my previous provider discussed. Going into the office three times a week does not work for my schedule. Overall, she was very helpful.

The only thing I didn't care about was that in the summary notes, nothing was mentioned about either of the spots we discussed. I don't remember what she said about them. I think this is careless on the dr's part.

My 1st time seeing Dr. Durante and I loved her! She is professional, knowledgeable, very sincere and calmed my fears.

This was the first time I saw Dr Durante for a routine dermatology check up. She was great. I never felt the appointment was rushed and she answered any questions I had.
