Dr. Hepburn was the first GI specialist to suggest some tools for me to address my IBS symptoms.
Very Good
Excellent.
Very good experience.
Detail oriented, to the point, I appreciate that. Knows her stuff...and shares information.
Nurse/assistant was great in her role, Dr. Hepburn was thorough and very good to communicate with on my first visit with her.
Some of her information on Visit Summary from my visit that day states, denied joint pain, she never asked. I always have joint pain. Also, that my nose, mouth & throat were checked, not so. Also, that my mammogram on March 9,2024 was Negative, not true, I have a tomography biopsy scheduled on April 4,2024 and lastly marked that I never had my wellness visit done, I have a wellness visit every year with my primary doctor.
Good
My provider was very kind and seemed concerned regarding my condition and answered all my questions. It was the first time I met her and I was very pleased with her treatment and referral.
First, scheduling was problematic as my PCP attempted to schedule me for a colonoscopy and Dr. Hepburns office scheduled me for an un-needed consultation, which lasted mere minutes and ended in a needed colonoscopy being ordered. When the office called and left messages, the person calling did not Identify who they were other than a first name and number to call back. This led to the messages being deleted as telephone spamming.Secondly, after the consultation I believe the nurse that scheduled my colonoscopy sent a prescription for Miralax powder without conferring with Dr. Hepbrun. Dr. Hepburn offered the option of Sutab that I would need to pay out of pocket. I chose the option of Sutab for which I am glad I did. The additional cost was only $60. The nurse was somewhat adamant that their office did not use Sutab as it would be maybe $250 out of pocket. Not wanting to get involved in what appeared to be an interoffice disagreement, I stated that I would use whatever prescription the office desired. Upon paying for my prescription I found both the Miralax powder AND the Sutab in the bag provided at the pharmacy.
