Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?:

I wanted to devote my life to serving others and building meaningful relationships with patients.  I am fascinated by the human body and the complexities associated with both wellness and disease. I also enjoy the lifelong learning that medicine requires. I love that family medicine allows me the opportunity to care for an entire family throughout their lifetime. 

What I want my patients to know about me?:

I often spend more time listening than giving advice. I want to make sure you feel heard and understood.  I am compassionate, straightforward, and realistic in my approach to medicine. I love to partner with patients to come to a decision together and help them reach their health goals. I have a particular passion for maternity, newborn, and pediatric medicine, as well as caring for those with chronic illnesses.

What I do when I’m not seeing patients?:

I am currently in a new season of motherhood and enjoy time with my young family. I also enjoy crafting, decorating, and spending time outside. My husband and I are deeply invested in our faith and our church community.
