Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

As long as I can remember, I had a both natural inclination to learn from the world around me while enjoying forming nurturing and maintaining authentic and genuine relationships with people. Healthcare allowed me to merge these passions into one and the experience has been fulfilling and rewarding for over 20 years. Family Medicine has been a natural choice and extension of this journey for me which has provided me with a genuine appreciation for the connections I am able to establish and sustain with people and a multitude of opportunities for discovery and learning.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I was born and raised in upstate New York. Grade school through medical school had been all within 10 miles of home. Residency was a time to journey further so I completed my training and lived in rural Oklahoma until I moved to Lancaster in 2004. I have spent time in private practice, served in a plain community clinic, and served in public health since relocating to Lancaster. Although I am new to the WellSpan family, I have practiced in the Lebanon area for over 10 years. I am proud to serve now as an active member of the WellSpan Community.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

Personal time is family time. I enjoy traveling, cooking, photography, skiing, and outdoor activities.
