Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
At the core of my being, God planted in me the desire to heal. After having children, Family Medicine was the natural choice.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I want to empower my patients to make good decisions that will enable them to live their happiest, healthiest lives. Caring for patients is a sacred trust.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
When I'm not seeing patients, I am Medical Director for Population Health where our team uses data to improve care delivery for all WellSpan patients. When not working, I celebrate life by spending time with family and friends. I eat a good diet and plan daily activity - exercising, dancing, cleaning, biking, gardening or taking long walks with friends.

Dr Platt is an excellent doctor. She is a good listener and has common sense. She doesn't just treat my illness but my overall health and I appreciate it. She gives sound advice that makes sense and tells me in truthfully the supplements that I don't need to take.
