Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I always knew I wanted a career where I could help others and experience lifelong learning. As a nurse practitioner, I am able to work with patients every day in an effort to optimize their health and wellbeing, and I also enjoy the fact that medicine is constantly evolving with the aim to always improve the care we can offer patients.

I see you as a partner in your healthcare, and I will always listen to your concerns so that we can collaboratively develop the best plan of care for you.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I love doing anything outdoors, including hiking and kayaking. I also enjoy traveling and spending time with my pets and family!

In June, I was concerned about my response to a new treatment ordered in March and no appointments were available. I was told to wait until September's calendar opened up. I did not think my symptoms/response to treatment could wait that long, so I tried getting getting the answers to my questions through the portal. Then the nurse was able to get an appointment for me to be seen at this date.
