Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?:

I initially pursued a career in healthcare with the goal of becoming a midwife. However, through an unexpected career path and the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself working at the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities with a patient population I never anticipated serving. While my path changed, my passion for helping others remained the same. I love building relationships with my clients, getting to know them and their families and supporting them in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life.

What I want my patients to know about me?:

I want my patients to know that I am genuinely curious about who they are as individuals. I love learning about what makes people happy, what motivates them, what their goals are and what is most important in their lives. I consider it an incredible privilege and honor to work with my clients and their families, and I hope every patient feels heard, supported, respected and well cared for in our time together.

What I do when I’m not seeing patients?:

When I'm not seeing patients, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three daughters. Much of our free time is spent cheering them on at their various sporting events or preparing/showing animals at our local fair. I also enjoy volunteering with our church youth group, gathering with friends and sharing good food and conversation. Some of my favorite ways to have fun are visiting Maine and the beach, hiking, antiquing and finding a good yard sale! I love the thrill of finding a great bargain or hidden treasure!
