Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?:

Growing up, biology was my favorite subject in school. I found it fascinating to learn how the human body works. I also found it very gratifying to help others - what better way to do that than to help restore someone who has fallen ill to a state of good health. In high school I had the opportunity to follow doctors, watch them see patients in the office, and observe surgeries. From then, I knew that was the career for me.

What I want my patients to know about me?:

I am a board certified general surgeon and have received additional training in endocrine surgery (thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal) and breast surgery.

I take great care in what I do, and will treat you as if you were my family member. I am patient, attentive, detail-oriented, and diligent.

What I do when I’m not seeing patients?:

I enjoy painting, singing, bowling (poorly), kayaking, and spending time outdoors. I love to travel and experience different cultures and foods. And, of course, nothing beats spending quality time with family and friends.
