In my childhood, I helped to care for my great grandfather when he lived in our home. I had the amazing opportunity to have unlimited access to him while he lived with us. I constantly talked with him and helped him get around the house and in our yard, even with his oxygen tank. I enjoyed every moment I had with him and loved caring for him. After he passed away, I knew that I wanted to care for others and to be able to impact lives. Therefore, I became an operating room nurse... I love my job! After enjoying many years in the operating room, I realized I wanted to make an even greater impact on others. I pursued a career to become a nurse practitioner with the end goal of practicing in a surgical specialty.
Now I am a Plastic Surgery Nurse Practitioner. I want to help patients prior to their surgery. I want to assist patients with their surgery. I want to see my patient's results after surgery.
I am thankful to have this opportunity to participate in your care. I strive to do my best and to give you the utmost in compassionate care. I am always willing to listen and to help in any way. I want you to feel comfortable and to know I care.
When I am not seeing patients, I am spending time with those I love (my husband, son, dog, family and friends). I always enjoy my time spent at our family cabin in the summer and I love going to the beach. I enjoy summer campfires and relaxing surrounded by my loved ones. I enjoy swimming and sitting by the pool in the summer. I have a new and growing passion for exercise.
