Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I chose to pursue a career in medicine, specifically surgery, because it allows me to care for patients at their sickest and most vulnerable time. I enjoy seeing patients fully recover from a major illness or surgery. General Surgery allows me to treat patients for a multitude of conditions and continue to take care of people for many years.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I enjoy spending time with my family and have many outdoor recreational hobbies. I enjoy running marathons, trail running and obstacle course racing.
