Very caring, does a good job on explaining things.

Everything was explained to me very well.  Dr. Listened to my concerns

Needs to get more in touch with the patient by talking to them in person or phone hisself about test- MRI's Xrays etc.

Expressed concern about amount of wait time until surgery could be done, offered to do it on a holiday if I was willing (of course I think holidays should only be used for emergency care. A_______ surgery was ______ use for Oct 31 which was 2-3 minute before I expected.

I wish it hadn't taken so long to be able to see my provider!

He is really good, I don't go to anyone else because he can do the injections so painlessly and they last (e.g., he is placing it in the right location).

Dr. Messick is a thorough and thoughtful provider who shows compassion and doesn't treat me as if I'm a number to be done with and move on. I am very pleased with Dr. Messick and Wellspan. Dr. Messick is an excellent doctor. He generally explains things before I even get to ask a question about them, but, when I do ask a question, he is thorough and ensures that I understand. Dr. Messick is very good about showing me my xrays and going over them thoroughly.

Dr. Messick was very friendly and kind, and I appreciated how he walked me through reading the X-ray picture together and explaining various things to me like an adult.
