Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

My decision to choose medicine as my career started with working as a pharmacist. I truly enjoyed the work as a pharmacist but I also enjoyed working in the hospital system. I have a sincere interest in the art and science of medicine, which led me to radiation oncology as my chosen field of practice. My practice allows for the seamless combination of computers and highly technical equipment while being able to continue one-on-one interactions with my patients.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I believe that compassion, caring and humor are very necessary tools needed to combat a cancer diagnosis. I feel privileged to be able to help people navigate the cancer treatment path while continuing to live their life to the fullest.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When I am not at work, I enjoy volunteering in non-medical fields, which gives me wonderful experiences and chances to meet interesting people. I enjoy spending time in museums appreciating history as well as learning new ideas. I love spending time in the company of my friends and family enjoying each new day.
