My mother was a registered nurse and was a large influence in why I decided to pursue a career in medicine. I volunteered at the hospital where she worked and was impressed by how much of a difference she made in patients' lives when they were often at their most vulnerable. Patients would often stop her while walking in the community to thank her for her excellent care and kindness. I chose podiatry specifically because of the immediate impact we can often have on patients' pain and the pivotal role podiatrists play in the prevention of devastating limb amputations.
I feel that patient education is key to a successful outcome. I will take the time to explain the diagnosis and make sure my patient understands the outlined treatment plan. I will discuss with the patient not only the plan for their acute pain but also the long-term treatment goals for prevention and/or recurrence.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children. We enjoy camping, kayaking, and attending Penn State football games.

Very good
Good
She would not even have a discussion with me about my unique job and how I had a wide range of jobs possible to do including light duty jobs. But she shut down the conversation down and put really strict restrictions on my work note (only 30 minutes walking/standing per DAY) for a sprain. I felt talked down to and unheard.
Great
IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE
Always at the top of their game!
Extremely professional and was able to go beyond the need for foot care to describe some ways to prevent ankle weakness and pain.
She is understanding about my dementia and explains things clearly. She never hurts my feet and is an invaluable help to my foot care. I know my feet would not be as healthy as they are without her care.
Personable, gave me instructions about how to manage my health problem, offered that she was available for a follow-up if I found it necessary.
Dr. Price was very good and helped me diagnose arthritis in my feet.
