Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
As a cardiac electrophysiologist (EP), I specialize in caring for patients who have electrical problems with their hearts, such as atrial fibrillation (a-fib), atrial flutter, and SVT. The long-term relationships with patients, continued intellectual challenge of EP, and the opportunity to fix (not just medicate) heart rhythm problems makes EP my passion.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I strive to know each of my patients as a person, so that I can understand how their arrhythmia impacts their life. Working together with each patient, I try to develop a treatment strategy that gives them the highest possible quality of life.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
When I am not in the hospital, I love spending time with my wonderful wife. Our children keep us very busy and we enjoy family adventures, exploring nature, exercising as a family, and learning together.

Dr. Singleton was very nice. He sat back and listened to everything I had to tell him about my condition. He was patient and asked questions. He was clear in his explanations. He asked me twice if I had any questions for him, which was really nice. He was very amiable and respectful.

Dr. Singleton is not rushed. Takes time to talk to you always asks if you have any questions or if he needs any additional explanations? Actually looks at you when speaking and not computer. it was the best WellSpan experience I have had in years.

Explaining my rehab and the damage it has done to my heart, with computer images and pictures of Watchman placement. Finding resources for Eliquis at a cheaper cost. Very satisfied with answers and help.
