Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I chose a career in psychology related to my interest in mental health, personality theory, trauma and its impact, and relationships. I always had a fascination with human diversity, and have engaged in a generalist practice, enjoying my work with a diverse clientele.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I have been in practice over 25 years, serving adult and adolescent clients. I work in an outpatient setting. In addition to providing psychotherapy, I am involved in training doctoral psychology interns and serve in the role of Discipline Chief for Psychology.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I enjoy walking, hiking, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Getaways are replenishing and I particularly enjoy the mountains. I enjoy movies, theater, concerts and finding new restaurants, particularly those emphasizing ethnic or international cuisines. I like supporting local community events.
