Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
My father is a family physician so growing up I was able to experience all that being a physician entailed. I was especially drawn to the relationships my father was able to develop with his patients. Seeing their appreciation for his dedication, medical skills and ability to improve their health seemed to make his long hours worth it. It did not take long for me to realize that being a physician was the profession I wanted.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I have been presented with significant family health issues that produced a large amount of stress in my life. I believe was able to get through these events primarily due to my faith in God and his Son Jesus Christ. Knowing that they were there for me and my family gave me the peace and encouragement to carry on during those difficult times.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I enjoy working outdoors and playing golf. I also obtain rest and relaxation by strengthening my relationship with Jesus through study, prayer and small group conversations with other Christians.

I have known Mike Wilson since he was born as his father and my husband had a medical practice in East Prospect, pa known as Susquehanna Medical Clinic. Mike has always been a great person and I think has made an excellant physician. He knows of what he speaks and it is always a treat for me to see him.
