Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I chose a career in urology because of the opportunity to form long term relationships with patients and have a meaningful impact on issues which can have a great effect on one's quality of life. I also enjoy the great variety of conditions we treat and procedural options at our disposal.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I will listen to you and take your concerns seriously. I will always have your best interest in mind.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I enjoy spending time with my wife, two children and golden retrievers. We enjoy hiking, going to the beach, watching football and spending time with extended family.

        Dr. Vacchio is great. The only thing that didn't happen the way that I would have liked was when I got my biopsy and called to ask doctor about it. The office person said doctor doesn't call patient. I'd get my results at next visit. Created much anxiety.
