Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I chose to pursue a career in medicine because I have always had a deep desire to help others. I have had personal experiences providing care for loved ones, which enhanced my interest to dedicate my career to helping others. I worked as an RN in a hospital for nine years and wanted to further my education and play a larger part in decision-making for my patients. This is the desire that compelled me to pursue the training and education of a nurse practitioner. Also, I was excited to embrace a profession where I can continue to learn and advance my knowledge.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I want my patients to know that I am very caring and compassionate towards their individual needs. I am dedicated to being their advocate and listening to the concerns they are trying to convey. I enjoy listening and problem-solving. It is a true privilege to be their provider and assist them in creating a plan to reach their health goals.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When I am not seeing patients, I am usually hanging out with my husband, daughter and son. I love spending time with my family and friends, who always make me laugh and put a smile on my face. Additionally, I enjoy exercising and trying to promote a healthy lifestyle for my family. For stress relief, I turn to retail therapy!
