Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I realized from a young age that our health is the most precious gift that we have. Like all of the most valuable things we have in life, it comes to us free at birth but can be taken for granted. However, once threatened, we quickly remember health's value. I wanted to choose a career that allowed me to protect and foster this most sacred commodity. I was encouraged as I progressed through my training by the satisfaction I took from seeing ill patients become well.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I feel honored and privileged to serve the Gettysburg community as one of its primary care physicians. I strive to earn the respect and trust of my patients by continuing to deliver high quality, up-to-date medical care.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
When I am not seeing patients, I enjoy exercising and spending quality time with friends and family.

I am very pleased that Wellspan found a way to keep Dr Quinlan in the practice. We have built a great rapport and it would have been difficult to adjust to a new doctor. I have a rare form of dementia and he understands how to work with me and my caregiver. He is an excellent doctor.

Dr Quinlan is one of the best physicians I have had over my 77 year life. He listened to my heart recently, he knew something was not normal for me; he ordered an EKG, which his nurse did immediately, and we found I had "A-Fib." Which came through on the EKG. This diagnosis Is critical for my health.

Use of computer to check in is cumbersome and difficult if one is not familiar with use. Receptionist was not available, due to personnel cuts.

Dr. Quinlan is a wonderful caring doctor, he takes the time that is needed to make sure that I feel that heard. Hope he can remain my doctor since there are some changes coming such as age based patients.
