Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

No one in my family was involved in medicine, but I knew I wanted to be in a helping profession. I feel so privileged to be able to provide care for my patients throughout their life span. I still enjoy helping mommies-to-be as well as women with their gynecological concerns.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I grew up on a farm in Kansas. My studies took me to the West Coast, to Texas, as well as to Philadelphia. I now call Central Pennsylvania home. I enjoy both obstetrics and gynecology and particularly the use of the DaVinci robot for minimally-invasive gynecologic cases.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

My wife and I have three children. We have enjoyed following them in their school, sporting and extracurricular events. We are soon to be empty nesters and are looking for a small "farmette" to start some new adventures .
