Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I come from a family practice background and was excited to get involved in endocrinology because I liked that it was applicable to any area of medicine. I also was interested because I have a family history of diabetes.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I'm from the area, went to school around here, and did my master's degree program here. I wanted to help the people I grew up around. I'm looking forward to seeing and getting to know many people from different walks of life. I'm also excited to learn the different facets of the organization and collaborate on how we can help our patients.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I like to be active and try to make time to exercise. I also like to spend time outside and try different sports.

Experience with Tara Irvin was very positive. I would still like to know if I am to continue taking Fosomax as I go through the 6-month injection process, and that is, prior to next dexa scan. I thought of it later, and forgot to ask at the time. I will ask this when I hear results of blood test, which is being done on [date]. I also had forgotten to tell her of a broken foot bone (fifth metatarisal) on right foot In 2013 or 2014. Thanks.

Tara has always been very attentive to my issues during the years I have been going there. The help they have given me has transformed by life, and my thyroid problem is now just a minor inconvenience for me.
